Back in 2025, ol' Paw Paw John noticed somethin' was missin' in the knife community. Too many places had forgotten what brought good folks together in the first place. So Paw Paw figured, "Why not build a place where folks can enjoy good knives, share a few stories, learn from one another, and make some honest friendships without all the drama?" And that's how Paw Paw's Knife Shop come to life! What started as a little Facebook community has grown into a gatherin' place fer knife lovers from all across America. A place where collectors, buyers, sellers, traders, craftsmen, and everyday hard-workin' folks can pull up a chair, sit a spell, and enjoy the knife life together.
Round these parts, our promise is simple: GOOD KNIVES BELONG WITH GOOD FOLKS!
We don't much care whether yer carryin' a Case XX, Buck, Spyderco, Benchmade, Rough Ryder, or that old pocketknife yer granddaddy carried fer forty years. Whether it's worth twenty dollars or two thousand, if it means somethin' to you, it means somethin' to us.
We believe every knife has a story, every collector has somethin' worth sharin', and a person's word oughta mean somethin'. Fair deals, honest friendships, respect fer one another, and a whole lot less drama—that's the Paw Paw way!
As our little community grew, so did a dream of bringin' somethin' special of our own to the knife world.
In 2026, Steel Ridge Cutlery Company was born!
Our very own cutlery brand, created to bring together the timeless craftsmanship of traditional knives with the innovation and precision of modern cutlery. From genuine stag-handled cowboy knives and rugged outdoor blades to modern EDCs and premium collector pieces, Steel Ridge represents where tradition meets modern, and the knife becomes art. We're proud to offer distinctive designs and special collector packages that celebrate the craftsmanship and individuality of each knife. Steel Ridge ain't here to replace the great brands we've always loved—it's our way of addin' a new chapter to the knife community, one we hope folks will be proud to carry, collect, and pass down fer generations.
